Hi everyone! Just popping in with a short post today to let you know there's a new Christmas collection from Spellbinders called Home for the Holidays. It's available for purchase now!
I have two card samples to share that will hopefully get you into the Christmas (in July) spirit. This first card features a grouping of petite florals and holly.
Spellbinders supplies needed to create this card:
- Poinsettia Spray Die set - used to die cut all the florals and holly (I created two sprays and combined to make up the large floral arrangement)
- Emerald Cut Labels & Tag die set - used to die cut the mint green mat
- Comfort & Joy Sentiments hot foil plate + die set - used for the Christmas greetings foiled sentiment
- Peppermint Stripes Embossing Folder - used to create the embossed striped background panel
- Gold Hot Foil
My next card is a mini slimline design featuring jolly old St. Nick. When fully assembled, St. Nick measures just a bit over 6 inches tall. He fills the mini slimline size nicely.
- St. Nick die set - used to die cut pieces for Santa, tree, & snowflakes
- Poinsettia Spray die set - used to die cut poinsettias and holly leaves
- Comfort & Joy Sentiment Hot Foil Plates and dies - used for the Merry & Bright sentiment
Catherine Pooler ink colors used for shading and background color:
- Hot Tub for the background shading
- Lime Rickey for the tree
- Sparkling Berry for pink coat & hat
- Wintergreen for mittens & boots
- Rockin' Red for poinsettia petals
- Sauna for poinsettia centers
- Spruce for holly leaves
- Bellini + Cotton Candy for face and rosy cheeks
