Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Christmas Cookies Card

Anyone have holiday baking plans this weekend? One of my favorite holiday activities is baking and decorating shaped sugar cookies. I think that's why I love the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Christmas Cookies die set so much. The card I'm sharing today features these fun shaped cookies and a custom sentiment for a special recipient.

This card is A6 size. All Honey Bee Stamps supplies used are listed and linked below.

Lovely Layers Christmas Cookies dies - Used for the snowman, snowflake, and tree cookies.

Decorative Star Layering Frame dies - Used for all the decorative mat layers which includes the large white one, the polka dot pattern paper one, and the one I've stamped the sentiment onto.

Hug in a Mug stamp set - Used to stamp first part of the sentiment (I love you more than)

Homemade with Love stamp set - Used to stamp second part of the sentiment (Christmas Cookies)

Gingerbread Village Paper Pad - the star print kraft paper,  red & white polka dot paper

Creative notes:

-I hand cut the hat for the snowman since the Christmas Cookies die set does not include one. It's very easy to make one from scratch. It's just two layers, a square shape with a small rectangle shape as the brim.

-To get more realistic sugar cookies, I die cut the cookie bases from a cream colored card stock and shaded the edges with a light brown ink.

-To mimic a sugary coating to the icing, I applied Stickles glitter glue to some areas.

-I decorated the tress with some tiny pearl stickers and snowflake confetti.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I think I'm headed to the kitchen to whip up a batch of sugar cookies to decorate and share with the recipient of this card.  :)
