Hello everyone! I'm excited to start sharing holiday cards made with all the fun new sets from the latest Sunny Studio release. Today's card features the adorable images from Roly Poly Penguins.
Here are the Sunny Studio products you'll need to recreate this card:
- Roly Poly Penguins stamps & coordinating dies - for penguins & accessory images
- Snowflake Circle Frame die - for die cut snowflakes
- Holiday Hugs stamps & coordinating dies - for greeting
- Stitched Square dies - largest die in the set for background mat
- Scalloped Square 2 Large dies - largest die in the set for scalloped mat
This card is a very easy to create so I won't go into too much detail about the process. But below are some of the specifics if you want to recreate this design.
The finished card measures 5 inches square. The background is an ink blended combo of Catherine Pooler Hot Tub & Cummerbund inks. I love the soft aqua color this combo creates. Since this is a winter scene, I added lots of splatters with the diluted aqua ink and white paint.
After I had the penguins and greeting adhered to the card, I filled in the extra space around the greeting with the little snowflakes. The snowflakes were die cut from plain white card stock and then I applied Stickles glitter glue to each to give them lots of sparkle.
