Hi everyone! I'm excited to help spread the word that Streamside Studios has a new website. To celebrate we are having an Instagram hop and there's a giveaway.

If you are not familiar with Streamside Studios, let me give you a little background... Shawne Arnold is the owner and illustrator of Streamside Studios. She offers digital and clear stamps. Her illustration style is sweet and whimsical which is right up my alley! For the card I'm sharing today, I have used a digital set. I just use my home printer (HP Envy 7155) to print out the images on Copic friendly card stock.
- deep red cupcake wrapper - R56, R39, R89
- chocolate cake - E25, E27
- pink flowers - R81, R83, R85
- yellow on hive and bees - Y32, Y35, Y38
- black on bees - N4, N6
- bees wings - B000, B00
- bear - E41, E42, E43
- rosy cheeks - R00, R20
After I had all the images colored in, I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut them out. Some important tips when using the Scan N Cut on small images like the bees.... first be sure the machine is set to color scan not black & white. I find this setting really helps with picking out small details like the bees antenna. I had to color the antenna with a bit of yellow so the Scan N Cut would scan those properly. Otherwise since the antenna are so tiny, the scanner would miss them and cut around the bee head and right through the antenna. Ask me how I know this, lol!
