I'm sharing a card made with a new stamp set appropriately named Trees 'n Patterns. With this stamp set you can make two different sized pine trees with the fun patterns. I have used them to create a little winter scene on an A2 size card.
Trees 'n Patterns stamp set and coordinating dies - for the trees, snow spots, and sentiment
The Bigs Winter Sentiments stamp set and coordinating dies - for the snowman
North Pole Mail Postage Stamp Frame die set - I used the largest die in the set.
I used Catherine Pooler Inks for the stamping in the following colors: Sage, Spruce, Cranberry Fizz, Over Coffee, & Hoodie (shading on snowman)
I love using kraft card stock for holiday and winter cards. It has such a warm cozy vibe. To make this snowy winter background I applied white pigment ink onto the kraft card stock. I applied the white ink with a blending brush making it heavier around the outer edges and lighter towards the center. The white ink gives the kraft a frosted look. I then added lots of white paint splatters.
After the background was dry, I stamped the oval snow spots and added my trees and snowman with thin adhesive foam squares. I was then able to stamp the sentiment in the space that was open just above the trees. I had the little snowflakes die cuts left over from another project, so I decided to add those too with tiny clear sequins glued in the center.
