Honey Bee Stamps Cozy Christmas Release

The newest Honey Bee Stamps release is now available to order! This is a big one since it's their Christmas/Holiday release.  There's so many fun things in this release including gingerbread houses, cookies for Santa, and beautiful florals. Click here to visit the Honey Bee Stamps online shop.

I will have many cards to share in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for them! This first card I'm sharing features a sweet little gingerbread house made with a new Lovely Layers die set. This card is a unique size. It measures 6.5 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide. It will fit into an envelope for an A6 sized card.

• Postcard Holiday Add-on die set - for decorative frame, pine sprigs, & holly
• Great Greetings: Holiday dies - for Happy Holidays greeting plus shadow layer
• Gingerbread Village paper pad - peppermint stripe & green plaid paper

The Gingerbread Lane set includes dies to create three different gingerbread houses with accessories. The houses and trees are nicely detailed but very easy to assemble. I die cut the pieces from kraft card stock. I then used a blending brush and Catherine Pooler Spiced ink to color. I thought this combination made the perfect gingerbread color. You can vary the intensity of the ink onto the kraft to get lighter and darker shades. 

I thought it would be cute to make the greeting look like gingerbread too! I did same as the house pieces by die cutting the shadow layer from kraft, then applied the Spiced color ink. The white handwritten "happy holidays" looks like icing.

For that little bit of Christmas magic, I applied Stickles glitter glue to the snow areas on the house and trees. The Stickles adds such lovely sparkle to the snowcapped roof. It is so pretty in person!
