The card I'm sharing today features one of my favorite things from the new release... the Lovely Layers Candy Canes die set.
This set includes the candy cane layers as well as pine sprigs, holly leaves, berries, and a bow. I die cut the candy cane layers, pine, and holly from white card stock. With blending brushes I added color. I used Distress Oxide Ink in the following colors: Spun Sugar, Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Evergreen Bough, & Pine Needles. I splattered the pine and holly with thinned white paint. The bow has been die cut from metallic silver card stock.
The background layers for this card are all patterned papers from two new 6x8.5 paper pads - Holiday Wishes & Pinstripes & Polka Dots: Holiday
For the middle layer, I used a die from the Decorative Star Layering Frames set to get the fancy edge and de-bossed detail.
The sentiment is from the Holiday Treats Vintage Gift Card Box Add-on stamp set.
Love this beautiful card. Great use of all of the elements to make a festive card.
