I have two cards to share today. All Pretty Pink Posh products used are linked and in bold text. The first card showcases the new Holiday Stockings stamp set. This set includes four stockings to color, two sentiments, and several small images you can fill the stockings with.

Over top a Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide inked background, I've arranged all 4 of the stockings like they are hanging from a garland. The little pine sprigs I used for the the garland are a die from the PPP Winter Foliage set

Here's a list of Copic colors used for the stockings:
  • pink - R00, R20, R21
  • red - R14, R27
  • light green - G20, G40, G43
  • dark green - G28, G46
  • brown - E41, E42,E43
  • shading on white areas - C0, C1, C3

My second card also features more cute stockings however this time they are die cuts from the new Build-a-Stocking dies

I began this card by creating the fun stenciled background.  I used the Winter Words stencil and four colors of ink.  I started with a coral pink color at the top left corner and working down at a diagonal. Next I used red, then a dark green, and ending with a light green.  I overlapped the colors a bit so there would be a subtle gradation of color.

Overtop the background, I added a panel of light weight vellum to act as a buffer.  I wanted the pattern of the stenciling to show but be slightly muted so the stockings would stand out better.  I added the two stocking with foam squares so they would be popped up from the vellum.  Next I added the sentiment which is included in the Holiday Stockings stamp set. Lastly I embellished with just a few sparkling clear sequins and snowflake confetti.
