Pixi Dust Designs Tea Pot House Treat Box

I'm sharing more fun tea theme projects created with dies from Pixi Dust Designs latest release.  I have used the Tea Pot House and Tea Cup Shaker die sets to create a tea pot shaped treat box and coordinating tea cup card. 

To make the tea pot into a little box, I used the Mug Add-on die. If you don't have this one, I highly recommend getting it. With this die, you can easily turn any large shape die cut into a little treat box. 

For my tea pot house, I have die cut all the pieces from pattern paper.  This pretty paper is from a Carta Bella 6x6 paper pad. The collection is called Here Comes Spring. I love the color palette of this paper collection. The 6x6 paper pad includes small scaled prints that are perfectly sized for creating die cut projects like this.  

The tea pot house box will hold several tea bags.  

This would make a nice little gift for any tea drinker.  

For the card I again used Carta Bella paper for all the die cut elements. The solid colors are from the Here Comes Spring 12x12 Solid paper pack.  

I used some Copic markers (W0, W1, & W3) to add subtle shading to the pieces and then a white gel pen to give them some highlight detail.
