MFT March Release - Flower Fairies and Caticorn Cards

It's time for another fun MFT release! You can find all the March release products here.  I'm sharing two cards today that feature some super cute new stamp sets.

First up is a rainbow themed card showcasing images from the Caticorn stamp set.  How fun is this idea of a cat unicorn!  Of course I had to pair one of them with an ink blended rainbow background.

I used several Distress Oxide inks to create the rainbow.  From left to right: Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey, Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, and Shaded Lilac.  I colored the caticorn pink with Copic markers RV000, RV10, and RV02.  I shaded the clouds with a  B000 and B01.  I heat embossed the the tiny stars in gold and then used a Tonic Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer Pen to add a bit of sparkle.

Next up is a sweet fairy card.  I used an image and sentiment from the Flower Fairies stamp set along with a fantastic new word die for a simple scene that's completely magical!

I started by creating a pretty blended background with a combination of Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac, and Bundled Sage Distress Oxides.  I Copic colored the fairy with my favorite pink and purple colors: RV52, RV55, RV66 for the dress and B60, B63 for the wings. Her hair is colored with E41, E43, & E44.  The dandelion is colored with G20, G21, & G24.

I die cut the word "smile" from some glitter card stock and dark pink card stock.  I then layered the two slightly off set.  This particular fairy image along with the two part sentiment are strong enough that all this card needed to finish it off was just a few clear sparkling sequins.

Thanks fo much for stopping by today!  Happy shopping! :)
