Miss Ink Stamps - Punny Farm Card

Hello crafty friends! I have a very fun card to share today that combines cute playful images and a punny sentiment. My favorite kind of card to make! The stamps and dies I used for this card come from a fairly new company - Miss Ink Stamps. There's a sale going on right now for the 4th of July holiday weekend.  Now through July 7th, you can get 20% off storewide with code FIREWORKS

Stamps and dies used for today's card:

I started with an A2 card base. I blended a combo of Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks onto the top of the card front for the sky area. On a separate panel, I stamped and Copic colored the farm landscape background (Hay There stamp set). I fussy cut around the top edge and then layered it over the ink blended sky.  I added two layers of grassy hills.  My hills are a Distress Oxide ink blend of Mowed Lawn and Bundled Sage.

Now for the really fun part! I stamped and Copic colored several images from the Punny Farm Pigs set.  I die cut the "HAY there" from black card stock.  I then added the die cut greeting and colored images into the scene, but left room to stamp a sentiment directly onto one of the grassy hill layers.  This fun sentiment also comes from the Punny Farm Pigs set.  I get a lot of questions about what Copic colors I use to color pigs, so below is my go to combo.

The bulk of the pigs body is colored with E0000, E000, & E00.  I use E11 & E13 for shading, hooves. and nose.  To give the nose a pink tint, I go over it with R11.  For all my Copic colored critters, I use R00 & R20 for the pink cheeks.

Thanks so much for joining me today!
Don't forget to check out the sale at Miss Ink Stamps. Happy crafting!
