Hello there! I'm sharing another Fairy Garden card just because those sweet images are my absolute favorite ....at least until Hello Bluebird's next new release, lol!
For this card I wanted to create a magical little forest scene against an ink blended background. I choose soft pink for the sky and mint green for the ground. I added white birch trees and a die cut grassy border.
I wanted to add mushrooms in varying sizes. There are a few Hello Bluebird sets with mushroom images. I uses some from Fairy Garden, McGregor's Garden, and Moose & Friends. The little cupcake the fairy is holding is also from Moose & Friends.
For the greeting, I stamped and silver heat embossed "wishing you" & "birthday" from Sparkles Script. I die cut the word, magical, from silver glitter card stock.

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Reverse Confetti new release creative blog hop.
This month's release is extra special! Reverse Confetti is celebrating their 6th birthday. They've put together another amazing release packed with fun products so be sure to stop by each blog for lots of inspiration.
The entire hop line up is listed below. Your next stop on the hop is Becky Roberts from Inking Idaho.
I have two A2 size cards to share today featuring the fun images from Ice Cream Social.
I think this set is perfect for summer celebration themed cards but can be used for thank you and friendship cards as well.
For my second card I've built a little scene onto a kraft card stock panel. The bunny and bear have caught up with the ice cream truck and are enjoying some sweet frozen treats. I've used a piece of the Sweet Stripes paper as a border along the bottom to ground the scene. I've added some heart bunting along the top of the panel to make the scene a little more festive.

Hello everyone! It's release day for My Favorite Things and I'm very happy to be joining them this month for their MFT & Friends feature. Be sure to visit the MFT Blog where you'll find lots more inspiration for the May release.
I have two cards to share today using some of the new stamps and dies. I loved the new Watermelon Slice Die-namics so much! Watermelon always reminds me of summer and picnics. I used the classic red and green watermelon color scheme for both cards.
Featured on the first card is one of the adorable girl images from Sweet Besties. I started with an A2 size panel of white card stock. I masked off the top and bottom of the card with post-it tape that I die cut with an older MFT scallop border die. With a light hand, I blended on some Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink to the open area of the panel.
Next I die cut the hello and then stamped a sentiment from Sweet Bestie in black ink. I adhered my Copic colored images with low profile dimensional foam squares. Lastly, I added just a few clear sparking sequins. I love how the girl looks as though she's dancing over the hello and scattering flowers as she goes.
For the next card, I used the Watermelon Slice Die-namics as the focal points on a slimline design. I die cut all the watermelon pieces from white card stock and blended on some Distress Oxide Inks to color each piece. Festive Berries for the red parts and a combination of Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover for the green. I then die cut the seeds from black card stock and added highlights with a white gel pen.
My card base measures 8.5 inches long by 3.5 inched wide. I stamped the striped detail along the bottom edge of the card front using the Watercolor Stripes Background stamp. I adhered the watermelon slices with dimensional foam squares. I then added a combo stamped and die cut greeting using the Sweet Sentiments and Sweet Die-namics. For a little emblelliment, I added Rose Water Nuvo Jewel Drops and a few tiny acrylic hearts.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Have a wonderful week!

Hello friends! Today's the big day... Purple Onion's newest release
designed by Stacey Yacula is now available for purchase.
This release is so fantastic!! The theme of this collection is based off of a good ole fashioned country fair.
If you are like me and have full set syndrome there's a bundle deal at a special price through May 15th:
All 24 stamps (30 individual images) for $108. That's 30% off!
I've made three cards to share using these fun new stamps so without further ado...
First up is a tri-fold card. This card is A6 size. I've stamped the Roller Coaster image onto the left side of the card front. I then fussy cut around the entire image. I used a craft knife to cut out the trapped space so the scene behind would be visible. Essentially the roller coaster image is hinged on the left side and opens to reveal the Fairgrounds which is one layer and entirely colored with Copics.
The fairgrounds panel opens to reveal one final scene on the inside of the card - Pinky the pig enjoying some cotton candy. I stamped the Spring Fence directly onto the inside panel and Copic colored along with some grass and a faint blue sky. I fussy cut Pinky and three of the new Carnival/Fair Blurbs, then added with low profile foam squares.
This next card features some of the farm themed images in the collection. Clarabelle has won 1st prize at the fair. Dolly is presenting her with it. To set the scene, I used the large Cornfields image (stamped twice and fussy cut).
The 3 Chicks - Flo, Mo, & Bo - have also joined for the ribbon ceremony. The little stool that Dolly is standing on is from the previously released Milk Set. For the sentiment I've stamped "You're the Best" from the new Everyday Blurb set.
This last card is a longer scene. The card measures 9 inches long by 4 inches tall. I wanted to create a scene with all the animals lined up waiting to get a ticket into the fair. For the background of this scene, I stamped the Fairgrounds image fully on the right half and then partially (the tents) on the left half. I used the Fair Booth image which has a blank sign on it. I simply wrote "tickets" with a white gel pen on the sign.
Manning the ticket booth is Oliver. Oliver is from a previously released collection and is illustrated to be holding something so I drew and fussy cut a ticket for him to hold. Lined up and waiting to get into the fair are Billy the goat, Misty the horse, Wooley the lamb, and two little chicks. I finished off the scene with two speech bubbles from the Carnival/Fair Blurb set.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you'll check out all the new stamps from the Sunny Meadow Fair Collection in the Purple Onion shop. Have a fair-tasic day! :)
