For my card today, I used the Unicorn Tales stamp set along with the Rainbow Sky dies to create a magical love themed scene.
First I started by creating a bright pink watercolor background. I used Cherry Bomb Nuvo Shimmer Powder to achieve that pretty pink color. I spritzed a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock with water and then sprinkled the powder on. I used a paint brush to push the color around and added more water where needed to cover the entire slimline panel. I then splattered the panel with thinned white paint.
Next I added the clouds which have been die cut from white card stock and Lawn Fawn Pearlescent Vellum. The cloud layers at the bottom of the card have been die cut using dies from Grassy Knoll.
I wanted this card to have elements of sparkle so I added a thin layer of Moonstone Glimmer Paste over the rainbow and heat embossed the sun with Wow Unicorn Magic.
The sentiments from the Unicorn Tales stamp set have been heat embossed in gold. It's difficult to see in these pictures, but the unicorn's horn is gold and has a coat of Glossy Accents. Since this card is for Valentine's Day, I wanted to add some hearts. There's a die in the Rainbow Sky set that cuts out multiple little hearts at once. I sprinkled them around the background as if they were raining down from the clouds.
