My Favorite Things - Tweet Friends Thank You Card

Hello crafty friends!  I've got a sweet thank you card to share with you today that features the most adorable little bird.  This cute image can be found in the new Tweet Friends stamp set from MFT.

With the help of two stencils I created a sunny sky background.  I used this Cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to cover the entire panel with clouds.  I then used the Radiating Rays stencil and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink to add the sun towards the upper right corner of the background.  I used the Big Thanks Die-namics to die cut the word "thanks" directly into the background panel.  I die cut the "thanks" a second time out of some Bristol card stock I colored with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink.

I added the background panel to an A2 top fold card base.  I inlaid the solid blue letters and then added the cloud stenciled letters over top just slightly askew with foam tape.  I perched my Copic colored bird on top of the H.  To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment and the music notes from the Tweet Friends stamp set.

Reverse Confetti - 'Fetti Friend Holiday Projects

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing my the last of my Fetti Friend projects.

With only a little over a week until Christmas, I'm feeling the pressure to complete the last of my holiday cards, gift tags, and such.  I've turned to some Reverse Confetti November release products to help me finish the job.

I've created a little gift card pouch using pattern paper from the Winter Solstice 6x6 pad.  This pouch is so easy to make with the help of the Scalloped Bag & Tags Creator Confetti Cuts

I cut 2 panels from stripe pattern paper and folded the top over which creates the white scalloped edge.  I then adhered the 2 sides and bottom together.  I die cut a tag from kraft card stock and added the Ho Ho Ho which is a stamp from the Christmas Circles stamp set.

After all the projects I've made using the pattern paper from the Winter Solstice pad, I had a lot of scraps left.  This paper is so pretty and I didn't want to waste any of it.  So I trimmed all the scraps into strips of varying widths and adhered them together.  I used it as a decorative border on a card.  I embellished the card with some vellum snowflakes made using the Snowflake Magic stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts

MFT & Friends - December Release

Hi everyone! It's an exciting day - the My Favorite Things December release is now live
and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining them this month for the MFT & Friends feature.

Be sure to visit the MFT blog where you'll find lots more inspiration!

I'm sharing three cards today.
In addition to all the MFT products used, I've given a few details for each card.

I've made two cards using a stamp set that could possibly be my all time favorite set from MFT to date - Friends At First Sip.
I'm a coffee lover for starters and the all images are incredibly adorable especially the pup image that resembles a Cocker Spaniel.  We have a 2 year old buff colored Cocker so naturally I had to color that image to look like him.

For this first card I created the background using the Small Brick Wall stencil and some Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink.  I added a narrow strip of patten paper to ground the scene.  I used the Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics to die cut three hearts from white card stock.  I colored each of the hearts a different color using Spun Sugar, Seedless Preserves, and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxides inks.

For this next card I again used images from the Friends At First Sip set.

To help showcase the images, I used the largest die from the new Blueprints 33 Die-Namics to die cut the white and kraft stripe pattern paper.  This piece perfectly fits on the front of an A2 card creating a decorative backdrop for the images.

My third card features one the beautiful floral images from the Brilliant Blooms stamp set.

I used Tombow markers to watercolor the flower and leaves.  I once again turned to the largest die in the Blueprints 33 Die-namics to create a background panel.  I used one of the smaller dies in the set to die cut some white card stock for the sentiment which is from the Beautiful Blessings 2 stamp set.

Thank you for visiting my blog!  I hope you've found some crafty inspiration today :)

Reverse Confetti December Creative Blog Hop

Hi Friends! I'm joining Reverse Confetti today for their December Confetti Creative hop.

Your next stop is Amy Rohl but if you get lost I've got the
full hop list at the end of this post.

It has been a year to remember and we are sharing 3 favorite projects from the year.

But first I have a new card to share that features
my favorite stamp set from the November release - Snow Bunnies

I love this image with the bunny on the sled holding his cup of hot cocoa.  I created a backdrop for the scene with some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink and the little snow fall stamp from the Snow Bunnies set.  I hand cut some glitter paper to add two layers of snow drifts.   I used the Branch Out Confetti Cuts to die cut the trees from kraft card stock and some pattern paper from the Winter Solstice 6x6 paper pad.  I adhered all the layers to an A2 sized white card base.  I stamped the sentiment onto the background and embellished the scene with some snowflake sequins.

And now for my three favorite Reverse Confetti projects....

This card featuring the adorable Furever Friends stamp set.

Another favorite is this card featuring Snowflake Magic.

And last but not least, this card which again features Snow Bunnies

Hello Bluebird - Frosty Littles Family

The addition of the Frosty Littles stamp set to Hello Bluebird's growing
collection of Christmas and winter themed stamps, brings some new creative possibilities.

I've always loved combining stamp sets to create fun scenes.
For my card today, I used the new Frosty Littles set along with the Frosty Friends set
to create a little snow family.

I used Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to create
a two toned inked blended background.

I stamped the snow with the Falling Snow Background stamp.

I cut out a single snow bank with one of the dies from the Hill and Dale die set

I covered an A2 sized card base with some light pink pattern paper.
I added the layers for the scene and the snow family on the curve of the snow bank.

I framed up the scene with a die cut from the Gallery Frame Die #2

To finish up this card, I added some silver heat embossed snowflakes and a sentiment.
The sentiment is from the Typed Christmas stamp set

Reverse Confetti December Stock Your Stash | Thank You

Hello crafty friends! Happy Decemeber!
I'm playing along with this month's Stock Your Stash Challenge.
The theme is thank you cards which is perfect for this time of year.

For my card I used a beautiful wreath stamp set - Fall For You

I wanted this card to have a wintery holiday vibe so I prepared the A2 size card base
with a panel of snowflake pattern paper from the Winter Solstice 6x6 pad.

I embellished the wreath with just a few flowers, some clear sequins, and a bow
which is from the Furever Friends stamp set

I adhered the wreath to a piece of vellum cut slightly smaller than the background panel.

In the center of the wreath I white heat embossed the thank you sentiment
